Warranty

All B SIDE products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of retail purchase, subject to the limitations below.

Each B SIDE frame, component and accessory has a useful product life. Its duration varies with its construction and materials, maintenance, and the amount and type of use. Keep your dated proof of purchase for warranty verification.

Note: The warranty periods below apply only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.

Important information

  1. B SIDE does not guarantee compatibility between original components and a replacement frame supplied under warranty. B SIDE is not responsible for parts or labor needed to remove, reinstall or adjust products during bicycle assembly, including wheel rebuilding.
  2. This warranty applies only to B SIDE branded products. Original parts or components from other brands are covered only by their respective manufacturers’ warranties. Products not specifically listed above are excluded.

This warranty does not cover

  • Normal wear and tear, including effects caused by fatigue
  • Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance, lack of maintenance, or insufficient mechanical skill, ability or experience
  • Bicycles not assembled or serviced by an authorized B SIDE dealer or qualified bicycle mechanic
  • Products that have been modified, neglected, misused, abused, involved in an accident, used for racing or used commercially, including rental
  • Installation of components, parts or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with B SIDE frames and components
  • B SIDE bicycles, frames, components or soft goods bought from unauthorized dealers
  • B SIDE bicycles, frames, components or soft goods bought through third-party online marketplaces or auction sites, including Amazon, eBay, Craigslist or similar regional platforms
  • Sandblasting, sanding, grinding, wire brushing, filing, welding, brazing, drilling, anodizing, refinishing, powder coating or chrome plating of a bicycle, frame, fork or component
  • Internal rust perforation of steel frames
  • Wear, scratches, chips, fading or cracks in paint, finish, decals or coating on B SIDE products
  • Bent or broken derailleur hangers, or sliding / rocker dropout components
  • Labor costs for removing, installing or adjusting warranty replacement products, including wheel rebuilding
  • Damage to carbon components caused by improper use of carbon assembly paste or incorrect installation procedures

Warranty coverage and limitation of liability

  1. This limited warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of a defective product, at B SIDE’s sole discretion. Repair or replacement is the exclusive remedy under this warranty.
  2. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a B SIDE product and is non-transferable. It applies only to products purchased directly from B SIDE or through an authorized dealer or distributor.
  3. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, B SIDE is not liable for any loss, inconvenience or damage, whether direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise, arising from breach of any express or implied warranty or condition, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as expressly stated here.
  4. This warranty gives consumers specific legal rights. Those rights may vary by local law and jurisdiction. This warranty does not affect any statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
