Bside is an independent bicycle brand born in Beijing. We see a bicycle as more than a tool for training or racing: it is a way to explore the city, express personal taste and connect with like-minded people.

We begin with our own routes and riding habits, asking what a bicycle should be in real life. It needs to be dependable and enjoyable, while leaving room to change colour, wheels, cockpit and carrying systems instead of deciding every answer at the factory.

More riders are looking for something beyond specifications and trends: a bicycle with a clear character, adaptable to different lives and worth keeping for years. Cassette and Capo are our answers to two distinct rhythms of urban riding.

We think of bicycles as companions for daily life, city exploration, short trips and longer adventures. Steel sits at the heart of many Bside designs for its reliability, durability, rewarding ride feel and ability to support a bicycle that keeps evolving.

We want more people to enjoy the process of choosing and completing a bicycle. A good bicycle does not need to follow every trend or make everyone ride the same way. It should keep taking you outside and become more truly yours through use.
